PRODUCT DESIGNER
I am a versatile Product Designer with a BA Honours Degree from Nottingham Trent University. I have had a number of varying jobs both in and outside the world of design. I have worked for industry-leading companies at the top of their respective fields. Through these jobs, I have developed a number of key skills that have helped me to succeed and continue to succeed in my career.
Outside of work, I am a keen participant in sports, with a passion for adventure sports, especially skiing!!

Bay Productions
General Design Operative
As a general design operative, I'm helping to design and manufacture bespoke set designs for a range of productions. Including theatre, opera, music concert sets, and much more. My role includes the fabrication of steel framework, carpentry, and painting to produce the desired set design.

Resort Rep
After leaving Homebase I became a ski holiday rep for NUCO. A travel company that specializes in student snowsports holidays. As a resort rep I was responsible for making sure that the passengers had the best possible time.

Kitchen Design Specialist
After graduating from university I got a job as a kitchen designer at Homebase, where I was responsible for guiding customers through the process of desiging and ordering their new kitchen. I would measure their kitchen and sit down an design it with them. Once designed I was responsible for quoting and ordering the kitchen.

Colour & Materials Footwear Designer (Intern)
Whilst on my placement year I was lucky enough to spend time with Adidas. Where I was a colour and materials designer for core footwear. Where I designed over 100 pairs of trainers for the 2018 seasons.

NatCen Social Research
Freelance Interviewer
As a freelance interviewer for NatCen I work on the Covid-19 research study for the Office of National Statistics. Through this role I interview a wide range of participants across mid-Wales, getting them to complete covid swabs and blood tests to monitor covid rates in the UK. I decided to take on this role during the pandemic to help the UK effort in fighPng Covid-19.

Ski Lift Operator
Operating ski lifts on a daily basis setting up and packing away raceways. Racking on and off chairlifts and gondolas everyday.

Merchandising and Design Committee Member
Whilst in my final year of univeristy I was part of the snowsprts club committee. An elected postion where I was responsible for designing all of the clubs merchandise. This inlcuded clothing designs and promotional graphics to promote the club and its trips.

CAD Draughtsmen
Whilst on my placement year I worked for Bay Productions for 3 months as a CAD draughtsmen. Where, as part of a small team we designed a multitude of theatre sets for a wide range of companies across the world.

I studied at Nottingham Trent Univeristy on a 4 year course with 1 year working in industry. I learnt a lot whilst studying at Trent, improving a lot of the skills that have helped me to be successful in the world of work.
